Deptford Green School at the Moonshot Centre
Moonshot classrooms and resources are an important addition to Deptford Green Lower School. The Deptford Green area of the Moonshot Centre contains two newly-equipped ICT suites, a drama studio, and a music teaching room that includes four practice rooms. The drama studio is the home of the Deptford Green Drama Club. The rooms are used by Deptford Green students and staff during the day but can be hired in the evenings and on weekends for arts, educational, and cultural events.

Deptford Green dance students take advantage of Moonshot’s two large, fully-equipped dance studios both for classes and after school dance clubs.
Our studios have sprung floors, mirrors, and ballet barres, and Studio Two is equipped with roll-out seating that can accommodate up to 39 seated spectators when used as a performance space. If you’re interested in booking a classroom or dance studio, contact the Moonshot Centre Manager on

| Deptford Green students and parents are introduced to the Moonshot Centre’s facilities in parent tours, held each autumn from beginning of term to the October half-term. Parents can meet Deptford Green teachers and administrators informally at the end of this tour in the Moonshot Cafe and Atrium area. The extended school’s Parents Forum takes place in the Moonshot Cafe and Atrium once each term., with creche facilities provided by Playhouse Nursery onsite at Moonshot. These meetings have proven to be valuable time for parents to catch up with what their children are doing at Deptford Green and as a chance for their questions and concerns to be answered in an informal setting.
